QUESTIONS ABOUT EDENRED CARDS

 

A prepaid card is a payment card which has been preloaded. You can spend up to the balance of your card. You don’t have to set up a bank account to buy a prepaid card. You may use the card to make cashless transactions both at high street stores and online (provided that those stores accept prepaid cards; a prepaid card is not a credit card).

A prepaid card is neither a debit nor a credit card.
When you use a debit card, you spend funds allocated to your bank account, which means once you exceed the available balance you create a debit – a debt that needs to be repaid within a specific timeframe. Using a credit card allows you to make payments even if the available balance is insufficient, but your bank has granted you “a credit facility”. Once you buy something, you will have to repay the amount together with interest. The key difference is that when you use prepaid cards, the payment is made up to the balance of the card. If you wish to make a payment that exceeds the value of your balance, ask the cashier to charge the available funds and pay the remaining amount with cash or another card.

All Edenred prepaid cards, except for Ticket Restaurant®, are accepted internationally, which means you can pay with them and use ATMs (applies to cards with a PIN code) also abroad.
You can pay with a Ticket Restaurant® card in Poland at more than 100,000 food outlets, e.g. restaurants, bakeries, confectionery shops, canteens, fast-food bars, pizzerias and company cafeterias.

If your card is lost or stolen, you should block the card at your earliest convenience:

1. at myedenred.pl (if you haven’t registered yet, do it now. Otherwise you won’t be able to apply for a replacement card),
2. via Twoja Karta mobile application,
3. by calling on +48 22 481 39 08.

To get a replacement card, log in at myedenred.pl and apply for a replacement card. The new card will be delivered within a few days by Poczta Polska service. Please bear in mind that to get a replacement card, your balance needs to be equal or higher than the current card replacement fee. You can check the card replacement fee in the terms and conditions once you log in at myedenred.pl.

You can pay with a Ticket Restaurant® card in Poland at more than 100,000 food outlets, e.g. restaurants, bakeries, canteens, fast-food bars, pizzerias and company cafeterias.

You can pay with Edenred cards wherever the MasterCard brand is accepted.

Upon the customer’s request we may, however, adjust the card acceptance network and narrow it down to specific types of stores, e.g. apparel stores, toy stores, bookshops, swimming pools, theatres etc. Ask your company for further information.

In case of cards without a PIN code, you may start using it the card day after your company has activated it.

In case of cards with a PIN code, it is up to you when you activate the card. To activate it, call on +48 22 481 39 08 and follow the instructions attached to the card carrier (if you haven’t activated the card and you have lost the card carrier, apply for a replacement card).

The available balance is given in real time and you can check it:
• at myedenred.pl or
• via Twoja Karta mobile application or
• by calling on +48 22 481 39 08 (24/7 Automated Customer Service) and pressing 1.

Edenred cards are equipped with a magnetic stripe, which means you can use them just like other payment cards. You need to remember, however, that detailed terms and conditions are defined by a company which has ordered the cards.

The cards are topped up by Edenred upon the request of a company which has ordered them.

The card you receive is inactive.

In case of cards without a PIN code, the cards are activated after your company has sent us the attached card activation request.
In case of cards with a PIN code, you can activate them by calling on +48 22 481 39 08. Then press 2 and follow the instructions attached to the card carrier.

QUESTIONS ABOUT MYEDENRED.PL

 

The card number can be found on the front of the card. To register quote the last 4 of 16 digits of the card number. Then quote the entire 10-digit card serial number which can be found on the back of the card above the magnetic stripe.

Visit myedenred.pl website, choose “I have Edenred card” or “I have access code”, then “Register” and follow the instructions.

Some companies buy activation codes from Edenred and then distribute them among their employees/ partners.
The access code is one of registration methods.
